University of Ottawa Healthcare Symposium (UOHS).

UOHS is an undergraduate health care conference that aims to increase awareness of the various branches healthcare has to offer. We aspire to inform the students by exposing them to diverse engaging seminars with passionate speakers. Some of our past speakers include: Dr. Andrew Pelling, Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa and TED 2017 Senior Fellow, Dr. Jeff Blackmer, Vice President of Medical Professionalism at the CMA, and Dr. Brad Bass, Nobel Peace Prize recipient in 2005. This year we are excited to have many knowledgeable and fascinating speakers such as Dr. Samir Sinha, who was appointed by the government as the expert lead on Ontario Seniors Strategy, Darlene Kitty, who is the director of the MD Indigenous Program at uOttawa, and Dr. Paul Lem, who is founder and CEO of Spartan Bioscience.
