Back for the 13th year, our annual comedy night will have you laughing into 2025! Don’t miss your chance to ring in the New Year with three top comedians and emcee Matthew Champion who is well known in the Ottawa Valley comedy scene. This event traditionally sells out so get your tickets early!

Frank Spadone (Headliner)

Frank’s personable accounts of family life have quickly made him a top headliner at comedy clubs and theatres across Canada and the US. He has been featured at comedy festivals in Australia, South Africa, and is regular face at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, having also toured with the festival multiple times across Canada. Frank’s movie credits include Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle’sTake The Lead and The Man. He has appeared on TV series The BorderLittle Mosque on the Prairie, and Mr. D.

Anjelica Scannura

Anjelica Scannura is a comic and producer. She’s the 2024 Winner of the Boston Comedy Festival and won Best Overall Comedian at the Cleveland Comedy Festival in 2022. She’s been featured on CBC’s Laugh Out Loud and has opened for Shane Gillis, Joe List, Krystyna Hutchinson, Stavros Halkias, and Rachel Feinstein. She currently produces and hosts the Haymaker Comedy Festival in Prince Edward County, now going into its third year, and is a touring headliner with Yuk Yuk’s. Also an actress, her credits include Disney’s Camp Rock, APTN’s Renegade Press, CTV’s Satisfaction, PBS’s Frankie Drake Mysteries, and feature film Little Italy (2018).

Heather Hurst

Heather hails from Nova Scotia and lives in Ottawa. She started performing standup comedy 10 years ago to spark joy in her life. Since then, she’s performed at festivals including SheDot, Cracking up the Capital, JFL Zoofest and JFL42. She entertains crowds with her frank and hilarious observations about the puzzling choices the world makes, from her vantage point as a single middle-aged woman.
