Have you been listening for your chance to Splash or Cash? 1-Cayo Coco Diving Centre

Diving on coral reefs, marine life and shipwrecks? Sign us up! At the Diving Centre, they offer a range of scuba diving regardless if you’re a newbie or a certified diver. Courses include Fun Diving, Try Scuba, Basic Diver and Open Water Diver and include a boat ride to a safe diving site, equipment and a wetsuit if needed. You also don’t have to worry about a language barrier as instructors speak multiple languages and teach courses in English and Spanish.

2-Plaza Los Flamencos 

Who doesn’t love shopping? Plaza Los Flamencos is a commerical and entertainment centre where you can purchase the world famous Cuban cigars, rum and local handicraft (souvenirs anyone?). To make this location even better, it includes a night club, bowling house, spa, beauty salon and restaurants.

3-Beaches

When you go someplace tropical it’s a no-brainer that you have to go on one of the gorgeous beaches your resort has to offer and at Cayo Coco, its no different. Commonly known as the Jardines del Rey area, Cayo Coco is home to several beaches streching 38 kilometers long! The beaches are known as Playa Flamencos, Playa Largo, Playa Colorados, Playa La Jaula and Playa Prohibida. That’s a lot of beach for you to cover! The beaches also include unique bird speices, natural formations, dunes and various marine life.

4-Cayo Guillermo Dolphinarium

How amazing would it be to check swimming with dolphins off your bucket list? At the Cayo Guillermo Dolphinarium, you can! Its an eco-friendly dolphinarium that’s designed to entertain tourists where you can interact with the dolphins in the park or in the water. Plus, the dolphins have been expertly trained to push, pull and perform acrobatic drills by professional staff members.

5-La Gaviota Shopping Centre

Shopping so nice we got to add it twice! Fun fact, La Gaviota is the largest shopping centre in Cayo Coco and is open daily from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. It’s a 3-storey building shaped like a seagull (second fun fact, gaviota is seagull in Spanish). The ground floor is an open handicraft market with the second and third floors being indoor air-conditioned boutiques. The shops include cigar shops, coffee and rum, souvenir boutiques, beach items, clothes, jewellery, perfume and snacks.
