Rhythm & Flo Culture Festival (RFCF) is a multifaceted way to appeal to a wide range of individuals while finding common ground, creating a platform for all ages to experience and learn from each other.
Our community will enjoy culture with live International Caribbean Artist’s, local up and coming artists, folk dances, stories, ethnic cuisine, traditional games and much more. We hope that this will create a level of understanding between the generations and foster strong community relationships.
This premiere family event will take place on Saturday August 6th, 2022, from 12:00 pm to 10:00pm and Sunday, August 7th, 2022, from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Mooney’s Bay Park, 2960 Riverside Dr.
Our committee is a diverse group of community minded volunteers with over 15 years of combined experience within the Caribbean community of the National Capital Region (NCR). Music and movement flows across generations, bridging the perceived generational gap. It can improve memory, speech, and most importantly, emotional healing. Our shared drive to maintain intergenerational connections and foster leadership led us to this community building opportunity.
