Do you remember the big Ice Storm of 1998? It was rough times for many but communities pulled together and we got through.
oin us Thursday January 11 thru until January 14 2018 at the Vernon Recreation Centre 7950 Lawrence St in Vernon. We are having a family friendly Trivia Night with Trivia Queen Connie Johnston on Thursday at 7pm; Family Movie Night on Friday at 6:30pm; Saturday has a vendor and craft sale 930-330 plus indoor and outdoor games and activities, boom 99.7 Street Team, bonfire with the Ottawa Firefighters, chili dinner 4-7pm, and an age of majority dance with music by DJ Bobby B; Sunday will be breakfast, ecumenical Church service by Osgoode Baptist Vernon United Church and games and activities indoors and out. The Vernon Outdoor rink will be open all weekend so bring your skates and sticks.
