Time: Registration 9:00 AM with opening speaker Deputy Mayor Kelly at 9:45 AM and walk begins at 10 AM. Return to hotel at 11:30 AM. Then Dr. Chris Morash and team from the Ottawa Urology Unit at the Ottawa General Hospital will speak bringing the latest news regarding Bladder cancer. Cake is served to celebrate.
Lace up your sneakers for the 13th annual Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer! Join us on Sunday Sept 24th 2023 where registration takes place at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier Hotel and we walk the downtown core as we raise awareness for the 5th most common cancer in Canada.
All funds raised at Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer support Bladder Cancer Canada’s mission to:
- Help bladder cancer patients and their support teams address the day-to-day issues of this disease.
- increase awareness of bladder cancer among the public and medical community
- Fund innovative research that pursues the diagnosis, treatment, and elimination of bladder cancer.
Bladder Cancer Canada’s patient support programs are free, thanks to the funds raised by Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer.
