The Butterfly Run is an annual 5KM run that is held to raise awareness and support around pregnancy loss, infant loss, pregnancy after loss and infertility in Ottawa and surrounding areas. All of the proceeds from the event go to Roger Neilson House, which is a pediatric palliative care hospice dedicated to supporting and providing resources for newborns, children and their families. This year, a virtual run will be taking place during the Thanksgiving Weekend (October 9 and 10), where participants will be able to go to a location of their choosing and complete their 5KM run or walk! Participants will also be able to view speeches and videos from community members and supporters of the Butterfly Run on our Facebook page, which will include some amazing activities to make the Run even more enjoyable for everyone!
