One of the things I’ve never done, but have always wanted to do is tour a beer brewery!
The building Flora Hall Brewing is in was constructed in the 1920s as an electrical garage, then an auto garage. Now, after being empty for 10 years it’s been renovated and turned into a craft brewery.
The original stucco facade, garage door and iconic arch have all been maintained, and the interior design is respectful of the building’s industrial past.
Flora Hall Brewing, has only been around for about 2 years, and is open 7 days a week. For now the only place to get their beer is at the brewery.
But two additional larger tanks were just installed to help up their production so they can start distributing it to bars and restaurants in Ottawa.
You can stop by and pick up a 4-pack or bottle to go, but why not stay for a bit to enjoy some of Flora Hall’s delicious food and awesome local art on display!
