According to Environment Canada..
A significant band of precipitation will move into the region Sunday morning, likely arriving as snow and ice pellets. The precipitation will change over to freezing rain Sunday afternoon or evening, which is expected to persist Sunday night and into Monday morning.
Ice accumulations combined with gusty northeast wind to 50 km/h may result in power outages due to fallen tree limbs and power lines.
But, it’s actually good news!
Because we’re now not supposed to get the amount of snow that was originally in the forecast for Ottawa!!!
The U.S. upper Midwest is getting slammed with a TON of snow! 15 inches equals 38 centimetres!! Even just to the South of us, the forecast is predicting worse conditions than here in the National Capital Region.
I mean, ice is bad, but snow is worse right? Tell me what you think in the comments section below.
