Help Mason get a new heart: live interview with Dylan Black

Mason Godin was born with only half of a heart. He’s had many necessary surgical procedures throughout the year to maintain his quality of life.

To manage the trips back and forth to Sick Kids Foundation in Toronto, hotel costs, and more unplanned expenses, Mason and his mother Erika, need your help. Some of Mason’s medical expenses remain uncovered. His injection medication alone is $90 a vial.

Mason’s treatment plan is undetermined at this time. The doctors at Sick Kids are waiting until he goes into heart failure, as there are many risks to the necessary heart procedure, including bleeding to death.

To describe the risk of Mason’s heart failure,

“It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when,” Erika Godin tells boom 99.7’s Dylan Black in our recent Facebook live interview.
