L.A. Wildfires; Los Angeles looks 'like Mordor'

Astounding pictures continue to arrive as the Los Angeles Wildfires continue to rage out of control today.

Evacuations continue with emergency centers set up in North Hollywood, Sun Valley, Sherman Oaks, Granada Hills, Chatsworth and Los Angeles proper.

A large swath has already devastated Ventura County as the wildfires threaten the 2nd largest American city today.  Many of Bel-Air’s famous mansions are gone and part of Interstate 405 has been closed, parting the North from the South.

L.A.P.D have ordered an evacuation of many homes on the famous and glamorous Sunset Strip including Mulholland Drive and Sunset Boulevard.

To date, the inferno has scorched more than 83,000 acres and reduced countless homes and businesses to ashes.

Firefighters continue to battle but the hot, dry Santa Anna winds are making it very difficult; not to mention the intense heat,  embers and thick black smoke.

More to follow.
